Why SoverIQ exists
Artificial intelligence is changing how organisations work. But the majority of powerful AI systems run on infrastructure owned by American hyperscalers – Azure, AWS, Google Cloud. For many companies and public bodies, that is simply not an option.
Anyone working with patient data, client files, state secrets, engineering plans, or confidential financial records cannot hand that data to external AI services. Not out of technophobia. Because law, compliance, and common sense forbid it.
We founded SoverIQ because we believe: Powerful AI and complete data sovereignty are not mutually exclusive. They simply need to be designed together.
What we do
SoverIQ develops and operates AI infrastructure that remains entirely under our customers’ control:
- SoverIQ Stack: on-premise AI platform for the highest compliance requirements
- SoverIQ Cloud: managed AI from European data centres, without US hyperscalers
- SoverIQ Box: AI appliance for locations without reliable internet connectivity
All three products share the same principle: no data, no token, no request leaves our customers’ controlled perimeter without their explicit decision.
Our convictions
Sovereignty is not a feature – it is the prerequisite. AI systems that process sensitive data must be under the complete control of the people using them. This is not a niche requirement – it is what every serious organisation in regulated industries demands.
Open source as the foundation. We build on open models and open standards. No lock-in through proprietary technology. Our customers decide which models run, and can switch at any time.
Made in Europe, for Europe. Our infrastructure is in Germany. Our team is in Germany. Our legal form, our contracts, our accountability – all under German and European law.
AI must be explainable and traceable. Every AI interaction is logged. Not for surveillance, but for accountability: who asked what, which model responded, on which knowledge base. This is the prerequisite for trust.
